The system can be established on any brand of file server
hardware, provided it is compatible with the Linux operating system. The
Informix Database Management System and fourth generation development
environment are employed to provide reliable data management, and ease of
software maintenance and enhancement. These technologies are stable, and
deployed extensively worldwide.
The user interface is primarily text
based. Delta 9™ has
consciously retained this approach because of repeatedly proven benefits in
training and ease of use. The interface can be displayed and used in a Windows
environment. If required, a fully functional Graphical User Interface (GUI) can
be provided for those users familiar with this approach, and where the
functionality of a GUI can be productively employed.
