In the past six years, African Bank has grown to become a competitive digital bank at the forefront of direct digital marketing. With more than 1.1million customers in over 415 branches countrywide, it continues to live up to its motto… “Grow for It”.
Due to the demand for a user-friendly, centralized, digital network, African Bank needed a platform which was capable of communicating services to customers and staff in all branches through targeted digital content display.
African Bank needed to display corporate information through real-time messaging, offering live financial data feeds, marketing its product offering and attracting new business through eye-catching promotions for cross-selling.
Ethniks Systems, with its strong, effective leadership and skilled team, was approached to roll-out this digital solution.
The extent of the project included a unique queuing system with a voiceover to match, three-screen installation plus a large-scale video wall per branch in 69 branches, across South Africa.
Ethniks completed both phase one and two within a one-month period where typically it would have taken three months to complete the scope of work. Phase one consisted of a total of 24 branches added to African Bank’s head office completed in 20 days and during phase two, 40 branches were completed within a record time-frame of 20 days, whilst incorporating intensive content management training behind the scenes.
